"Tarnished Spoon"
By Sarah P.
In countries where only the rich and privileged are educated there are people who are not.
In countries where only the rich and privileged are fed and clothed there are people who are not.
In countries where only the rich and privileged are cultured and socialized there are people who are not.
In countries where only the rich and privileged receive medical care there are people who do not.
In countries where money and status are valued above humanity people suffer.
What type of world do we live in where one goes without simply because their silver spoon was tarnished rather than polished?
