"In The Silence of Hope's Voice"
Staying focused on what is most important;
drowning from memory all that ever existed.
Understanding the roles people have played in my life;
whether their stay was for a moment or a day they are no longer there.
Selfishly determined, it is I who gets me through this day...
Day-to-day it is I who fills this room with laughter,
it is I who paints these walls a glitter with my smile,
it is I who affirms the strengths,
and it is I who leads those fears to light.
In the quiet of it all it is I who stands in-front ready for the punch,
decisions are decisions and fighting through it all is what I do.
I place upon my plate only what I can take throwing aside what never mattered at all.
